WHERE ON EARTH ? QUIZ TIME AGAIN.




HI BEEN OUT HILL WALKING FOR THE DAY TODAY...ME AND TOD.... LEFT HOME AT 7AM GOT BACK AT 5PM AND THE WALK TOOK 5PLUS HOURS.. WHERE WAS I ? AND ON WHAT HILL..? IF YOU GET THIS RIGHT I AM GIVING UP..

This was your best yet!! I really had to get my thinking hat on for this one...So: simple maths says that the location is around a 2 hour drive...lots of hills within that circle...Beacons, Malvern, Shropshire Hills, Pennines...but wait...that rock formation, texture and colour suggests Gritstone geology which is found only in the Peak District...and then a 5 hour hike means that it's not near a settlement...and probably on a major footpath...hmm...like The Pennine Way...So I deduce that it Kinder Low, the highest point in the Peak District, and that you hiked from Edale Village via Jacob's Ladder and along the Pennine Way to the summit trig point where the peat has been eroded away to reveal the tell-tale Gritstone.

I reackon Chip has a GPS installed under all of his siblings skin, it is the only solution to his getting all of these right!!! I would have guessed the Queen Elanors cross in Far Cotton!!!! my GPS must have a virus must get it fixed!! love ya H x
