Boston Marathon
Just a quick pic of post-marathon Chris, being very pleased with himself after completing the Boston Marathon this week! Tick another of life's little ambitions off the list.
Congrat´s from Portugal, I myself had a major acheivement this week. Ran to the fridge to collect another beer...Phew....beleive me it was touch and go at one stage:)
Congratulations, Chip - well done! This is my first time online for a week - have had a very virulent strain of gastro-enteritis which confined me to bed for five whole days so I've been a bit out of touch. Anyway, all's well again now, thank goodness and I'm fighting fit again. Love to u all xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Jamie: take it easy, you have got to work up to these major efforts...try staging the run next time and arrange to have beer depots laid out en route to the fridge to keep you going...
Bev: poor thing - not much fun. If there's comfort in numbers, all of us have suffered the same thing here in the last week and a half. I got it first, then Tim (in Boston), then Dara and then even poor Pip who came home briefly in a pause in his exams and ended up sick as a dog too! At least in my case it meant I had 6 pounds less to haul around Boston for 26 miles!
