Dara and I have just returned from a week on a tall ship on the Saguenay Fjord, a 100 mile long marine highway into northern Quebec through stunning mountain scenery. The ship - the "Caledonia" - is beautiful and we were two of only 17 guests on the ship with a crew of 20. We saw tons of whales from the ship, including pure white beluga whales and this finback, the second largest creature ever to roam the earth. Chris climbed the rigging whilst under sail, while Dara tolerantly reviewed his life insurance details 100 feet below...We were able to visit tiny fjord-side communities via the zodiacs, bike up 400 foot high sand dunes, sea-kayak through the fjord rip tides and horseback ride through the forests to a mountaintop overlooking the fjord. Then we broadcast a show on the week. Now if only every show was like this...
Love Chris and Dara xxx
