Portugal update
Jessie making sure that Max has been totally washed, if only DYSON had patented the Booger sucker !!!!!!
Halloween in Vilamoura, with Portuguese friends of ours. Max was "devilled" but was struggling not to look Angelic. Burgers, Blubber, Burritos and Blood what more could you want in late October. (JS..Before you start.. yes Beer also begins with "B")
The grim reaper also paid us a visit in the "Halloween Carnival"....slight mistranslation if you ask me. Fire eaters, horror floats and plenty of sweets (Candy to the other side of the pond!) to keep Max interested until way past his bed time.
And to finish a busy weekend, Sunday we were off the the World Super Bikes Finale, at our new Algarvian racetrack (Donkey´s ´an all). Troy Bayliss won both races on his retirement jaunt. We had it all... F16 flybys, F1 cars and an air "show" that would have been banned by Health and safety in the U.K. Waaaaaay too low, Waaaaaay too near and Waaaayy too older planes !!!!
Pop Jim would have loved every second, you could smell the fuel as they went by !!!!

What - Christmas before Halloween????
And its only just past Thanksgiving? And these pictures are from last year?? Has Dara got her calendar in a twist??? No - quite the contrary, for the first time EVER she has has got her act together in time......... So attention parents of all underage Robinsons - Christmas presents have been despatched by molusc mail to the four corners of the planet. Hopefully the postman will stand and deliver sometime in the next two months, after consulting the appropriate astrological charts and last posting date tables........
And Happy Halloween to all pint sized phantoms and Robinson renegades on Friday!

Happy Thanksgiving
It was Canadian Thanksgiving last weekend, so all four of us were up at the cottage for the last time this year - perfect fall colours and even more perfect weather...Top pic is from across the bay in the kayak and you can just see the cottage in the centre in the trees...
This weekend we went to see Pip receive his second year scholarship award in London...Bottom pic is Pip in his new apartment...the 'after' pic following the earlier 'before' pic. He's having a wonderful time, of course.
And today was the Binscarth Street Party, where we all get together for one last time before the winter chills send everyone to hibernation. The middle pic is Tim performing in the Binscarth Band as lead vocals and acoustic & electric guitar. Such a shy boy...
Love and Thanksgiving greetings from all in Canada.

Introducing........
.........Maizie Kitty Grace, who joined the clan yesterday, September 12th (all the best people are born in September!) at 8.25pm and weighed in at 6lb 7oz (2.7kg). Her brothers are equally smitten, though fighting to hold her threatens to get out of hand!
She hopes to meet her Great-Uncle Peter and Great-Aunt Pauline tomorrow and is looking forward to meeting the rest of her family at Christmas.
Love to all, Bev xxxxxxxxxx

Pip's New Pad
Pip has moved into his new place in London (that's London, Ontario of course!) which he will be sharing with a mate for the next 3 years. We had 53 Ikea boxes to build - everything from bed to sofa - and the top pic is Pip wondering whether it would ever all come together...He's up and running now of course and into his second year at the University of Western Ontario...We'll let him supply the 'after' shot to balance these 'before' shots! Tim is reurning today from a couple of weeks at camp including a 3 day canoe/camping trip in the wilderness...and they call it 'school'!
Fingers crossed this end for the good news to come from the UK...
Love, Chip & Dara

September already??
Can it really be that it is already that monster Birthday month of September? Wishing all concerned a very Happy Birthday with another "birth' day on the way!! I keep waiting to hear that phone ring with the new arrival news :-) thinking of you Gabbi and Steve. I can't believe how gorgeous and big that little fella in China is getting too - I really can't wait till the cruise to get my hands on all of these babies!! Just a recent pic of the kiddos (Maddie a little serious that day !!) they are both settling into the school year with new teachers and doing fine, both are doing soccer at the present, obviously one is more interested in actually getting the ball than the other (the other is only really in it for the uniform so she looks like her brother!!)
We are still jobless this end which is good and bad, the kids are loving having Daddy around to play with but it's not paying the bills so the fun has to end soon!! We think of you all and are all very excited about seeing you in December in the meantime take care of yourselves and I expect to see some new baby pics up here very soon :-) love to one and all Heidi J TJ and M xx
